Pretty much everyone knows that arugula is grown in small underground greenhouses in France, jammed with loving care in between the marijuana plants (that they stealthily fly over Belgian airspace into Amsterdam) and the truffle beds.  Real Americans eat iceberg, topped with gooey red orange French freedom dressing.

yeah. there are some people who'd like you to think we believe anything other than iceberg lettuce is fancy.  you know, i bet if he'd called it rocket, he'd probably have gotten points for connecting with the people.  or, it would have been ignored, cause the talking heads wouldn't have known what he was discussing.  of course, the thing about regional names for foods is you kind of have to grow up in the region to know them.

i try to avoid all this political crap, but it just seeps in.  bastards.
