Hillary's childhood.

It's amazing that she can refer to Obama as elitist. This woman grew up in Park Ridge, Illinois...a rich white neighborhood. She attended Wellesley, got all the right jobs...sent her own daughter to a private school...

yeah. obama's the elitist.

Re: Hillary's childhood.
Hey, cat.

I wrote this thing assuming people who would read it had seen the same media blurb I did, where she goes on about how she's practically a bow hunter in Wyoming. Mr. Kenney, per usual, summed it up, and I'm paraphrasing: "Guns and religion. Yeah. That's what I think of when I think of Hillary Clinton."

What's funny is that Barry's crack about bitter middle class people was, well, right. I'm not sure, and haven't been since the weekend, what the big deal is.

On a related note: What's it like having 89 nicks? (I.e., I don't know how you put up with the shit that gets tossed your way. You're a better person than I am. But you already knew that. And I'm painfully sober!)

Re: Hillary's childhood.

Catlin~

As a white man living in Park Ridge, I can tell you that you're almost EXACTLY correct. It's almost totally filled with rich white people.

The breakdown is something like 97.8% white and 0.8% black.

It's about 99.98% rich people, and 0.02% me.

Glad to see you back.

Re: Hillary's childhood.

Oh, I haven't seen that! That must have half the hunters up here laughing their asses off! I wish Tom was still alive to see that one. I'm gonna hafta check Youtube out. (I haven't had a TV since January of 2007. I miss it. I miss my BBC mysteries.)

I was actually flattered when they accused inkberrow of being me. Until he went and died last month, I was convinced Inkberrow was Buckley visiting the fray. I've been reading today that I'm actually Gyspy now, too. Damn, I'm good.

"...and 0.02% me."

wow, you must be a really big guy! (god, i crack myself up)

i'm glad to be back. i was silly to leave. i came to some really assinine conclusions. somebody from quiblit had to slap some sense into me...

(okay, i just reread my joke, and i'm laughing again. i'm a really cheap date, cuz i'm soooo easily entertained. of course, i've been up since 3:30 this morning. i might be a little slap happy.)

yeah. with her dad being a businessman, and her being a goldwater girl, i kinda figured she grew up sheltered from the economic hardships most americans endure.

Re: Hillary's childhood.

Oh. my. god. I've been under a rock. I just read two accounts of her claims...duck hunting? slamming back whiskeys?

I wonder...will SNL make a sketch for this new Clinton? And isn't it amazing that the moderators of tonight's "debate" let her get away with this???
