Who Turned Out the Lights?

The site went down for an hour earlier this evening. This was a problem with the hosting server which should be fixed now. By my calculation, they now need to stay online for the next eight years without fail to meet their uptime guarantee. Frankly, I'm not optimistic.

Good news - I have the new forum software and I've finished testing it. It's pre-release (someone did me a favour - I hope), so you'll be among the first to use it. It's got avatars that work and a private messaging system, so it should be a bit more fun. I'll be installing it shortly.

Now, just one more technical hurdle to go and I can concentrate on more productive things.
