For those having trouble creating new threads (so far - topazz and John McG).  A fix that seems to work is to go into My Settings, click on Tracking/Subscription, subscribe to the forum to which you want to post and hit update.  Then unsubscribe and update again.

I'm afraid that this is the best I've got until the programmers get around to releasing the bug fix.
